Dear NPC Jr. Nationals Athlete:

With this letter you will find the entry forms for the 2018 Optimum Nutrition NPC Jr. National Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini & Physique Championships, to be held June 15-16 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont (Chicago area), Illinois. Please read the entire Jr. Nationals information thoroughly – it’s important!! There are separate entry forms for each division. There are 7 weight classes for Men’s Bodybuilding, 3 height classes for Fitness competitors, 6 height classes for Figure and Bikini competitors, 4 height classes for Women’s Physique and 8 Height classes for Men’s Physique. NPC Men’s Classic Physique has 4 Divisions, which include both height and weight. See NPCNewsOnline.com for all information. IFBB Pro Cards will be awarded to each height class winner in Fitness, Figure, Bikini, Men’s & Women’s Physique, as well as the classwinners in the 4 Men’s Classic Physique Divisions.

U.S. Citizenship is absolutely required for Fitness, Figure, Bikini and all Men’s Women’s & Classic Physique Competitors only (pro-qualifiers). All bodybuilding athletes must provide either proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Resident Alien status (Green Card).

The application must be fully completed and signed -either online or a printed, mailed copy. The mailed application must include a money order – no personal checks -to pay for your entry fee and return it where instructed in your official entry form. Online entries must be paid with a valid credit card. Keep the information pages of this website for your own reference. There are no entry refunds or transfers.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. All contestants must be registered as athletes with the National Physique Committee as of May 26, 2018 (entry deadline). NPC CARD REGISTRATION IS DONE ONLINE (go to NPCNewsOnline.com). YOU MAY NOT REGISTER FOR AN NPC CARD ON THE DAY OF THE CONTEST.

2. You MUST be a U.S. Citizen to enter the Fitness, Figure, Bikini and Men’s/Women’s & Classic Physique Competitions and you must be a

U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident Alien (Green Card) to enter bodybuilding events. Proof of Citizenship for Fitness, Figure, Bikini and Men’s and Women’s Physique athletes is a copy of birth certificate, passport, Naturalization certificate. Proof of Citizenship or Green Card for bodybuilding events MUST be sent with entry. NO DRIVER LICENSES, VOTER REGISTRATION OR SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS ARE ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP.

  1. You MUST NOT be currently under suspension by the NPC.
    1. In order for an athlete to be eligible for the 2018 NPC Jr. Nationals, the athlete must have competed since January 1, 2017 and obtained one of the following placements in an NPC-sanctioned event: THERE IS NO MASTERS OR TEEN DIVISION IN THE JR. NATIONALS.,AND EXCEPT FOR MASTERS NATIONALS, ALL COMPETITIORS QUALIFY IN OPEN CLASSES ONLY! Beginning January 1, 2018, all athletes must place in the top 2 in their division/class.
      • Among the first 5 in his/her OPEN weight group in the NPC National, USA, Team Universe Championships or IFBB North American.
      • Among the first 5 in his/her OPEN weight group in the NPC Jr. National or Jr. USA Championships.
      • Among the first 5 in his/her weight class in the NPC Teenage, Collegiate or Masters National Championships.
      • Among the first 5 in his/her OPEN weight class in an area-level Championship designated as a National Qualifier.
      • As the Overall OPEN CLASS winner in a District-Level Championship designated as a National qualifying contest.
      • Figure, Bikini and Fitness competitors must have placed in the top 5 in their height class in an OPEN NPC-sanctioned fitness, figure or bikini event designated as a national qualifying contest and must be eligible under Items 1, 2, and 3.
      • Men’s and Women’s Physique competitors must have placed in the top 5 in their height class in an OPEN NPC-sanctioned physique event designated as a national qualifying contest and must be eligible under Items 1, 2, and 3.
      • Men’s Classic Physique competitors must have competed in either an OPEN NPC-sanctioned Men’s Bodybuilding or Men’s Physique competition and be eligible under Items 1, 2 and 3.
      • Women’s Bodybuilding competitors must have competed in an OPEN NPC-sanctioned Bodybuilding event and be eligible under Items 1, 2 and 3.
      • Class Winners of the Nationals and USA will be given 5 years of eligibility.

HYATT REGENCY O’HARE HOTEL Thursday, June 14: Weigh-Ins and Check-Ins for all athletes will take place on a “rolling” basis from 1-7 p.m. on Thursday ONLY! Competitors can come and register at any time during those 6 hours. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WEIGH-IN or CHECK-IN ON FRIDAY!!!!!!

COMPETITION SUITS MUST BE WORN AND/OR BROUGHT FOR INSPECTION BY BODYBUILDERS TO WEIGH-IN/CHECK-IN IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE SUIT STYLE, BRING A SECOND SUIT!

MUSIC / NPC REGULATIONS

  • All contestants MUST supply their own music and bring TWO copies to the mandatory athlete's meeting. Bodybuilders', Women’s and Classic Physique music not to exceed 60 seconds and Fitness contestants not to exceed 2 minutes.
  • Posing music MUST be on a CD and MUST be cued to your music. Any contestant using music containing PROFANITY will be immediately disqualified!
  • CD’s will be collected at the mandatory athletes' meetings prior to prejudging.
  • Men and Women bodybuilding and Women’s Physique contestants will not use music at the prejudging. There will be 45 seconds of posing in prejudging
  • Women's Fitness competitors will be allowed to use music at the prejudging for their routines (2 minutes).
  • No "T" back suits, metallic or vinyl will be allowed. However, female bodybuilding competitors will be allowed to wear multi-colored posing suits and jewelry at the evening show. Emphasis is on "good taste"!
  • Additional regulations pertaining to figure, bikini and men’s, women’s & Classic physique competitors are set forth on the NPC Website: www.NPCNewsOnline.com.

POSING AND AWARDS All competitors will be introduced on stage at the Finals. The top five in each Bodybuilding, Women’s Physique & Men’s Classic classes as well as the top five in each Fitness class will perform their routines. The top five figure,bikini and women’s physique competitors will be compared in their two-piece swimsuit. The top five athletes in alldivisions and classes will be awarded trophies. The winners of each height class in Fitness, Figure, Bikini, andMen’s & Women’s Physique as well as the first place in each Classic Physique class will be eligible to receivetheir IFBB pro cards.
